Bathroom Remodeling On a Tight Budget

When youre trying to remodel a bathroom with a low budget, and your ambition, imagination, and desire for change is high then you need to be creative. Lets look at some possible bathroom remodeling ideas for that tight budget situation.

Rather than replace your tub, sinks and other fixtures you may be able to refurbish them for much less money in many cases. You might be able to add a few dashes of paint to your sink and make it look amazing.220D

Many people have never even heard of painting there sinks, but it is a common practice in larger cities. You can find ideas and displays of these at most home shows you attend. My first experience with this was in Seattle Washington when I went into a plumbing show room and seen a beautiful display of sinks that had been painted by a local artist.

In many cases an artist can repaint your sinks and a few other items for a fraction of the cost to replace your sink and tub. The newly painted items have a whole new personality and add tremendous value and style that most others do not have.

If you simply must replace the old and put in something new then wait before you head out to the building supply store to spend a fortune. You may be able to find some overstock supplies stored in the garage of a local builder. It does not hurt to make few phone calls to see if any of the local contractors in town have some left over sinks, cabinets, or other items that might be a nice new look at a fraction of the cost.

If you do it yourself you can make your bathroom remodeling project very cost effective by watching for closeouts at the local retailers. Maybe you can put in a call and ask to be notified when they have such items on closeout.
